This page explains how to request deletion of your
ChocoChat Creator account and associated data
(Android package com.chocochat.creator).
How to request account deletion
- Open the ChocoChat Creator app and sign in with Google.
- Go to Profile → Privacy & Safety → Delete My Account.
- Choose a reason, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
- Or email chocochart8@gmail.com with subject “Delete Creator Account” and include the email used to sign in.
What happens after you request deletion
- We process eligible deletion requests (typically within 7 business days; personal data removal/anonymisation within 30 days where applicable).
- You can cancel a pending request within 48 hours by emailing support.
- Pending payouts are processed before account closure where required.
Data that is deleted
- Profile details (name, photo, bio, contact info tied to the Creator account)
- Chat history and in-app session records (subject to short safety windows below)
- Feed posts, Premium content, and Stories linked to your account (removed or anonymised)
- Device notification tokens and app login sessions
- KYC uploads once no longer needed for verification / legal holds
Data that may be retained
- Financial / tax / payout records: up to 7 years under Indian law
- Safety / dispute logs: limited period (typically up to 90 days; some chat-related records up to 6 months)
- Records required by law, fraud prevention, or unresolved payouts
